The location is fantastic, just steps from the beach. Rooms were clean and view was nice but bedding could use an update. Great spot for breakfast at nearby restaurants and easy access to beach activities.

Location is fantastic, right across from the beach. Room needs maintenance; our sink had a leak. Great nearby golf course too.

The breathtaking views from my room and the community balconies made my stay unforgettable, being only a short stroll away from the beach, Santa Cruz Pier, and the lively boardwalk, which was perfect for walking, relaxing, and enjoying drinks by the ocean; plus, the hotel is pet-friendly and offers a clean, comfortable atmosphere with free parking, making it a convenient choice for travelers. However, some construction nearby was noticeable during my stay.

The view is amazing and I enjoyed watching the volleyball games. The staff is friendly and texting the front desk is a nice touch.
The room size is questionable for the price.

Fantastic location and friendly staff made the visit enjoyable. Early check-in felt rushed, and our room wasn’t clean—dog mess outside our door that was never addressed. The noise from neighboring guests was distracting, and we ended up upgrading under pressure. Despite some amenities being poorly maintained, the firepit was a nice touch. Communication issues and cleanliness left a bit to be desired, which unfortunately overshadowed the positives.

Chillin' by the sick beach views, we nailed kayaking and windsurfing nearby. The staff was rad, hooking us up early check, in, and the patio vibes were hella lit for sunset chill sessions. Definitely epic for a young crew!
Just one more turn, up spot like a rooftop bar would've sealed the deal for non, stop party vibes! .

The location is fantastic! Plenty of plants and a great deck to see the ocean.
It wasn’t cheap, but the view makes it worth it.

Excellent location near the boardwalk and attractions. The shower? Huge. Staff was friendly and attentive; housekeeping provided necessary supplies without delay. Check-in was smooth, and the lobby offered breathtaking views. Additional charges were unexpected, with little explanation. The continental breakfast fell short and lacked variety. Despite its artisan claim, the decor felt uninspired. The WiFi was unreliable, and the TV didn't work. It has potential, but improvements in communication, amenities, and cleanliness could elevate the experience.

comfortable hotel, comfortable location with easy access to the beach just across the street and a short walk to some nice restaurants.
Couldn’t find a single fault.

A sewage truck pumped out the septic tank right outside my room! The smell was unbearable, and we were literally trapped inside—made us feel sick.

With breathtaking views of the ocean from the balcony and the lobby, my stay was incredibly relaxing as I could hear the soothing waves while enjoying my coffee; the hotel is just less than a 5-minute walk to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the Wharf, and several fantastic restaurants that delighted my taste buds. Plus, the free parking and reliable wifi made my trip even more enjoyable. However, I did encounter a minor cleanliness issue with the coffee machine that could use some attention.

The room was charming but showed signs of wear. The bed was comfortable, providing a decent night's rest. noise from the thin walls made it difficult; I could hear conversations from neighbors. The bathroom had an odd layout and felt outdated. The shower had good water pressure, but I found the lack of hooks for towels frustrating. The shared balcony offered a lovely ocean view, yet it shared space with dog areas and garbage bins. A more thorough cleaning and maintenance update would greatly improve the experience. location was a standout, but the room needed more thoughtful touches.

The hotel was super close to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean view and the boardwalk. Everything was within walking distance, which was convenient for exploring the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The room seemed a bit neglected, with dirty light switches and an unwashed microwave.

Casablanca Inn On the Beach boasts an unbeatable location right by the beach and pier, making it ideal for a fun getaway with family and pets. Enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and stunning views. some amenities could use an update, particularly in the rooms.

Waking up to that stunning ocean view was a dream! The bed was super comfy, and I could enjoy the view right from Room 202. Plus, my dog loved it too—we had such an awesome time exploring nearby beaches and walking to the boardwalk!
Would recommend! 🥰🐾

I enjoyed delicious Thai cuisine with beach views at Sawasdee by the Sea. San Jose Airport was a scenic 40-minute drive away. The hotel offered concierge services and overlooked Monterey Bay.
I had the pleasure of experiencing loud music and conversations from a neighboring room all night long, almost like a lullaby.

Let's start with the positives - the view from our room was absolutely spectacular, and we really enjoyed spending time on the comfortable terrace overlooking the ocean with a fire pit to keep us warm in the evenings. The staff was also very friendly, and parking was a breeze, which is always a plus. there were a few areas that could definitely use some improvement. there were no ironing facilities in the room, which was a bit inconvenient as we had some wrinkled clothes that needed attention. the heating in the room was not the best, and we found ourselves feeling a bit chilly at times. The air conditioning, on the other hand, seemed to be struggling a bit to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. We were also disappointed to find that there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which would have been a nice touch for those early mornings or late nights when a hot drink is all you need. The flat-screen TV provided some entertainment, but there weren't many decent channels available, which was a bit of a letdown. On the bright side, the housekeeping staff did a decent job of keeping the room clean, although we did notice some areas that were overlooked, like the bathroom lacking some free toiletries. And while the garden furniture on the communal terrace was lovely, we wished each room had its own private balcony for a bit more privacy. the Casablanca has its charms, but there are definitely some areas that could use some attention to make it a more comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The location was fantastic, just steps away from the sandy beach and volleyball courts. You could easily walk to the wharf and boardwalk or catch a quick pedicab ride. Plus, the Thai restaurant nearby was excellent! The room was spacious with two comfy beds, a large fridge, a microwave, and a shared deck overlooking the beach - perfect for enjoying the view!
The room had a strong bleach smell, lacked a closet, and hanging space for clothes. The website misinformation about Netflix and breakfast pastries was a letdown, with only individually packaged cookies provided.

We had a blast exploring the cool kayaking and exciting windsurfing spots by the beach. It was a total hit with the kids, and even my wife couldn't stop smiling as we rode the waves together.
My kids wished for a more exciting playground nearby.
